FAQs

What time do the classes start?

Please plan to arrive between 10-10.15am. Classes will start promptly at 10.30am.

What is the maximum number of participants in each class?

There will be a maximum of 10 people in each of the day classes. We can accommodate a larger number of participants for corporate classes, depending on the structure we agree on.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Everything will be provided including the recipes, an apron and all the ingredients and equipment you’ll need. It would be helpful if you could bring with you something to help you take home some of the things you have cooked. Specific details are listed with each course description. Typically, these include a bag, plate and/or Tupperware container.

Is there a minimum age limit for the courses?

We ask that all participants are at least 18-years-old to attend courses unaccompanied unless specifically stated. If accompanied by an adult, those that are 15 years and above can attend.

Is parking available?

There is no specific parking available at The Green Apron, however there are usually plenty of parking spaces available on the road outside. There is also a free car park in Coggeshall village, which is only a five-minute walk away.

What should I do if I am no longer able to attend a course?

Please contact us on enquiries@thegreenapron.co.uk as soon as you realise you are not able to attend a course. We’ll change your booking or provide a refund if preferred. Changes or refunds cannot be provided up to six weeks before the class. For more information, please read our Cancellations and Refunds policy.

Can I arrive late or leave early for a course?

Of course. Please let us know in advance or call 01206 890387, if you’re running late on the morning.

What if I have dietary requirements or food allergies?

Please let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements on booking or via email to enquiries@thegreenapron.co.uk and we’ll adapt the recipes to accommodate.

What if I want to attend a course but can’t see it on the calendar or make any of the dates advertised?

The calendar is updated all the time and new course dates scheduled depending on demand. If you’re interested in a course but can’t make the dates listed please let us know and we’ll contact you when it’s next scheduled. Sign up to receive our newsletter where new dates are also announced.

I have some suggestions for classes I think people would be interested in. Can I let you know?

Absolutely! We plan new classes all the time and love to hear what you’d like to learn. Please drop us an e-mail with any suggestions.
