Individual cancellations and refunds
Bookings for our courses are made months in advance, and all of the courses we offer require many resources, including planning and refining recipes, purchasing ingredients and staff time to actually run the courses. Therefore, any cancellations can result in lost revenue, which could affect our ability to offer the wide range of courses available or even keep operating. As a result, we have a policy in place to cover any cancellations.
It can be difficult to resell any places within a short period of time before the start date of a course. To cancel a place on a workshop, you must provide us with written notice via email; email@example.com. If we don’t respond within five working days, then please send a follow-up email to ensure your request has been delivered. If we don’t acknowledge it within a further 48 hours, then please call us on 01206 890387.
You can cancel your space on a workshop or change the date of the course you are attending up to six weeks before it takes place – if you do this, you will receive a full refund for any payments you have made. If you cancel with less than six weeks’ notice but someone contacts us wishing to book onto the same course and it is more than one week before it starts, you will get a full refund. However, if you cancel with less than six weeks’ notice and we don’t receive any bookings to replace yours, you will not receive a refund.
You can always choose to have your place transferred to another person. Simply let us know you would like to do this and provide our contact details to that person. They should then get in touch directly with us.
We do understand that there are sometimes unavoidable situations so we are happy to discuss any exceptional circumstances you may have. Please note this does not include any holidays you may have scheduled since first booking onto a course.
All refunds are made to the source of the initial payment, ie. fees paid by a credit card can only be refunded to the same card.
Green Apron cancellations
We are entitled to cancel any course at any time subject to the repayment of any deposit and fees received in respect of the booking that has been cancelled.
In the unlikely event of a cancellation by The Green Apron, we will do our best to offer a suitable transfer to an alternative course or will provide a full refund within 28 days of any fees.
Our liability is only for the cost of the course. If the course is cancelled, students are liable for any costs incurred including materials purchased in advance (e.g. Tupperware), travel or accommodation.
